Claire Walton of Ingleby Barwick, MD and lead consultant with Tees Valley based Strategic Change Solutions believes in keeping the promises she makes.
Born in Middlesbrough, she left to work in the south and returned two years ago to be near family again, and started her consultancy practice. She was a HR Director of the Year finalist in 2008, before starting own business in November that year, providing businesses and individuals with bespoke solutions to help them deliver changes in their business.
Since returning to the North East Claire, mother of Emily 18, has been an active Young Enterprise volunteer and is recently become involved in Princes Trust.
Claire says: To make a difference you must be passionate about delivering sustainable results for the people that you are working with. You must be flexible, open minded and innovative in the solutions that you offer and the way you work
And you must do what you promise, she insists.
