Guests rolled back time when they danced to the sound of the Glen Miller era at the Willow Burn Hospice Charity Winter Ball.
Guests rolled back time when they danced to the sound of the Glen Miller era at the Willow Burn Hospice Charity Winter Ball. The 1940s themed event held at Beamish Hall encouraged the 140 guests to dress in vintage clothing and dance the night away to the big band sound of the sensational Nick Ross Orchestra.
The event raised in excess of 9,000 and Willow Burn Chief Executive, Helen Mills, said: In these difficult economic times I am delighted that we were able to raise so much on the night. My sincere thanks go to everyone who contributed. I would also like to thank the team at Beamish Hall for providing excellent service and accommodating our every need.
Willow Burn Hospice, near Lanchester, aims to improve the quality of life of adults with life limiting illness. Willow Burn offers in-patient and day care, outpatient clinics and the Hospice at Home support 24 hours per day.
