The Teesside High School Spring Ball celebrated the arrival of new headteacher Deborah Duncan and raised almost 2,500 for the school.
The sell-out, black-tie event was held in the school hall and the 170 guests enjoyed a champagne reception, a three-course meal and dinner dance featuring live music from band Jump the Q.
Money raised through an auction of promises, where prizes included a flight for three on a private plane and an exclusive tour of the Aston Martin factory, will provide equipment for the school, which benefit the schools pupils and the community groups who regularly use the school facilities.
