Loose woman Coleen Nolan was a guest at the Saras Hope Foundation annual charity ball this year, of which she is patron.
The ball coincided with the news that if all goes to plan the Saras Hope Foundation Retreat will be open for business next year.
This years ball - held in celebration of Saras birthday - was held at The Hilton Hotel, Gateshead, organised by Ged and Julie Hoburn, founders of the foundation and Saras parents.
Jonathan Wilkes and Antony Costa provided the nights entertainment with their 17 piece swing band. Rachel Green also took to the stage to sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
The evening began with some of the patients from the Teenage Cancer Unit arriving as guests in a stretch limousine.
Coleen Nolan posed for photos and donated tickets for Loose Women and a chance to meet the girls in person, which raised 5,000 alone.
It is hoped the event raised in the region of 20,000.
