Rockliffe Hall anniversary ball raises funds for Great North Air Ambulance Service

More than 100 guests at the Rockliffe Hall anniversary ball raised over £7,000 for the hotel's chosen charity, the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
More than 100 guests at the Rockliffe Hall anniversary ball raised over 7,000 for the hotels chosen charity, the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
The event included a raffle and auction and was hosted by ITV Tyne Tees presenter and GNAAS patron, Pam Royle.
Prizes on offer included cooking lessons and lunch with Rockliffe Halls director of food and TV chef, Kenny Atkinson, golf with PGA tour professional, Graeme Storm and the chance to spend the day with a BBC football commentary team at a Middlesbrough match.
Rockliffe Hall managing director Nick Holmes, said: Being able to support such a fantastic charity with so many events is a real privilege for me and the team at Rockliffe Hall. The ball proved a tremendous success weve never raised such a lot of money at one event.
And Mandy Drake, head of fundraising at GNAAS, added: Its overwhelming to see how generous people can be. Our lifesaving aircraft rely totally on donations so this is such a boost to our coffers.
