Hoteliers, restaurateurs and other tourism professionals attended the fourth annual Visit County Durham Summer Garden Party.

Hoteliers, restaurateurs and other tourism professionals attended the fourth annual Visit County Durham Summer Garden Party.


More than 120 guests, including bed and breakfast owners and representatives of visitor attractions and heritage sites in County Durham, attended the event, held in Crook Hall and Gardens, Durham City.

The party was an informal traditional British tea party with musical accompaniment from the Ruth Lambert Jazz Trio and a menu of locally sourced Durham canaps.
Crook Hall and Gardens catered for the party which is an opportunity for the tourism industry to meet and network, sharing ideas and celebrating an industry that is worth 650m, attracts 18m visitors and sustains more than 12,000 jobs in the county economy.
