Red House School is to provide an academic facility, including a new Sixth Form College, that will be beyond parallel in the Teesside region

Since its foundation in 1929, Red House School has become synonymous with teaching and sporting excellence, with a formidable academic record, backed up by its present No.1 in Great Britain position in the Sunday Times Parent Power league tables.

In order to facilitate demand for places by parents and accommodate an increasing school roll, the school expects to move to its new site at Wynyard Estate by September, 2013.

Following an agreement to purchase the new site with land owners Cameron Hall Developments Ltd., Red House plans to move forward with the development of a brand new school benefiting from state-of-the-art teaching and sports facilities.

However, its relocation and increase in size will not change its overall ethos of:

Providing a caring, safe and warm teaching environment

An emphasis on small class sizes and discipline

Academic excellence.

It is envisaged that the relocation and expansion of the school to this highly accessible site near the A19 will create a flagship academic establishment with purpose-built facilities and the addition of a Sixth Form College, allowing pupils the opportunity to take advantage of a first-class education from the age of two to 19.
