Taste Club HQ - the fastest growing food and drink club in the North East.

Give yourself a Valentine present and join what's said to be the fastest growing food and drink club in the North East.

Of course, you can find out about where the best food and drink offers in the North East are by trawling through the internet. There are lots of websites offering a wealth of information about the canniest deals, the most interesting offers, the regions best foodie festivals and courses.

Information about individual events is out there in the ether, if you can find it. But how about if they were all in place and the information came to you direct? That is the aim of Taste Club HQ (www.tasteclubhq.com), the brainchild of Taste North East, the not-for-profit membership company which aims to inspire everyone to discover source and share North East food and drink.

Its a revamped operation with a new look and new offers. The club already has 4,000 signed up members across the region and Taste North East aims to get that up to 10,000 by the end of this month.

And there will also be a members draw at the end of February next year for a prize worth 500.

Taste North East chief executive, and North East Life columnist, Jane Hogan, said: Taste Club is already very popular with foodies across the North East, from the Borders to North Yorkshire, but the new look Taste Club HQ will offer even more advantages.

Instead of having to trawl through publications, websites and other media, those interested in food and drink in the region can find all the information they need in one place, with priority access to special offers from producers, discounts, draws and invitations to producer events.

The 500 draw prize includes a whole host of tasty goodies. Theres a dinner party cooking for two with lunch at Newcastles Blackfriars Restaurant, a cocktail afternoon tea for two at Six, Baltic Quay, Gateshead, a 50 Fenwick Food Hall voucher, a voucher for David Kennedy, former North East Chef of the Year, to cook in your home for up to eight people and an exclusive Taste Club Great North Food Hamper.
