Hairy Biker and North East Life columnist Si King helped chef Terry Laybourne cook up a storm for the opening of the new restaurant Argent D'Or at Close House in Northumberland.
Hairy Biker and North East Life columnist Si King helped chef Terry Laybourne cook up a storm for the opening of the new restaurant Argent DOr at Close House in Northumberland.
Roux trained head chef Chris Delaney headed the brigade as each chef took care of a course at the opening of the restaurant at entrepreneur Graham Wylies hotel and golf course.
The restaurant, in the refurbished ballroom at the front of the hotel, has been inspired by the Ritz and has unrivalled views over the golf course and across the Tyne Valley.
Hotel owner Graham Wylie said: We wanted to create an English country house experience reflecting the trend for small London boutique hotels, combining chic sophistication with a fun experience and great food of course.
