The Tees Valley Law Society's annual dinner raised more than £2,000 for St Teresa's Hospice, Darlington.

The Tees Valley Law Societys annual dinner raised more than 2,000 for St Teresas Hospice, Darlington.


The dinner, which was hosted by Nicola Neilson, Partner at Latimer Hinks Solicitors and President of the Society, raised 2,160 for the Hospice to continue its work providing hospice at home, day care and in-patient care for people across South Durham and North Yorkshire. The total sum was more than double expectations.


The 300 guests at the dinner, held at the Thistle hotel in Middlesbrough, were entertained by Aaron James, sports impressionist and stand-up comedian.


Nicola Neilson said: We are delighted that the Society has raised a significant sum to help St Teresas Hospice continue its vital work. The annual dinner was a fantastic evening, made even better by such a good fundraising result.
