Guests of estate agents Smiths Gore were invited to spend an evening at Paxton House near Berwick. They were treated to drinks and canaps and a private viewing of the Prestonpans Tapestry.

The huge tapestry is a tribute to the Jacobite uprising of 1745 led by Bonnie Prince Charlie and was created by more than 200 volunteers from across Scotland. The tapestry is now on an international tour which will include exhibitions in France and Canada.
