Guests celebrate re-opening of the Lord Crewe at Blanchland

The Lord Crewe Arms Hotel in Blanchland has been given a new lease of life. It's owners, J&G Inns, has invested significantly in the property with major renovations in the restaurant and accommodation.

The Lord Crewe Arms Hotel in Blanchland has been given a new lease of life. Its owners, J&G Inns, has invested significantly in the property with major renovations in the restaurant and accommodation.

The hotel kick-started its campaign to re-establish itself as a destination within Northumberland with an Open Afternoon and menu tasting with business colleagues, associates and friends from neighbouring towns, including Terry Robson, Mayor of Hexham, and his wife, Eileen.

Neil Brown, General Manager, welcomed guests. He said: It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome guests on completion of the first phase of renovations and structural changes at the hotel.

He introduced Kate Richardson, Assistant Manager, Steven Cosgrove, Head Chef and Sous Chef, Jess Mossman.

Guests were invited to sample an array of dishes and wines, showcasing the bistro and fine dining menus.

J&G Inns portfolio also includes Warkworth House Hotel, Warkworth and Brackenrigg Inn, Ullswater.
