More than 200 staff from Darlington College in County Durham were dressed to kill at a James Bond themed event held at the college for its new adopted charity - the 700 Club.

The 700 Club is a charitable organisation that provides temporary accommodation and support services in Darlington to vulnerable individuals, families and couples who are homeless, at risk of becoming so or face need, hardship or distress.

College Principal Tim Grant said: It was a fantastic evening for a great cause. When we asked staff if they would like to support a charity there was a very strong message that they wanted to be involved in the community.

Chief executive of the 700 Club Steve Rose added: Everyone involved
in the club is absolutely thrilled that it has become the colleges nominated charity which acknowledges the time, effort and commitment everyone puts into the organisation.
