Legendary multi-platinum recording artist Bryan Adams is to perform at Durham County Cricket Club,

As one of the world’s most highly acclaimed musicians, Bryan Adams has sold more than 65 million albums worldwide and ‘Get Up’ is his thirteenth studio album. Bryan rose to fame in North America with his 1983 album ‘Cuts Like a Knife’ and turned into a global star with his 1984 album ‘Reckless’ which produced some of his best known songs including “Run to You” and “Summer of ‘69”.

Bryan Adams said “The ‘Get Up’ Tour is shaping up to be a fantastic summer for me with dates UK wide. We have seen such a great response from fans all over the UK that we wanted to reach as many places as possible, which is why I am delighted to now announce the Durham concert. We’ll be rocking the stage with songs from the new album, which I think are some of my finest yet, and of course there’ll be some of the old favourites, too.”

Liz Doogan-Hobbs MBE, CEO of LHG Live said “The addition of the Bryan Adams concert in Durham to our summer programme forms part of our long-term strategy in developing sport and music at Liz Hobbs Group. We are working with a variety of artists of the highest calibre at a number of renowned UK-wide sporting venues. Bryan Adams is a fantastic artist who continues to enthral his fans and we are excited to be working with him and his team again this year.”
