Graham Johns has become head chef at the latest culinary addition to the Gateshead Quays, the stylish new Greenhouse Brasserie.
Graham brings with him over 20-years experience of running restaurants.
Heading up the front-of-house team is restaurant manager Leo Battaglia. Leo left Jesmonds Fishermans Lodge to take up the post.
The Greenhouse Brasserie opened on February 8 at Gateshead Colleges Baltic Campus. The 62-seater licensed restaurant creates a high-quality dining experience for nearby business and leisure diners.
Graham, 45, said: Ive developed an extremely tempting menu full of good honest food, which consists of old dishes with a contemporary twist. Weve created an ideal spot to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine.
Graham left his post as head chef of the Arch, Tynemouth, to move to Greenhouse Brasserie. Prior to that he worked at Linden Hall and Beamish Hall hotels.
The restaurant is just a few minutes walk from BALTIC, the Sage Gateshead and the NewcastleGateshead riverside.
Greenhouse Brasserie opens 10.30am until 2pm Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday opens 5pm until 9.30pm. To make a reservation visit www.greenhousebrasserie.com or call 0191 490 2414.
